The Master aims to provide the necessary skills to carry out the profession of opera director in the specific field of musical theater. The course offers classes on the planning and composition of scenic action. The interaction with the Masters of Composition and Set Design guarantees the use of expressive languages related to new technologies, from digital design to video installations. Workshops with internationally renowned directors are held within the course. There are also internships and assistantships at associated theaters and festivals such as: Arena of Verona, Teatro alla Scala, Teatro Regio di Parma, Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Teatro La Fenice of Venice, Rossini Opera Festival of Pesaro, Macerata Opera Festival, Puccini Festival of Torre del Lago, Real Theater of Madrid, Teatro dell’Opera of Rome, Teatro Regio of Turin, Festival of Aix en Provence, Teatro di San Carlo in Naples, Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari, Teatro Massimo in Palermo, Teatro Comunale in Bologna, Valle d’Itria Festival in Martina Franca and many others, both in Italy and abroad.
